Another Take at Qualifying

We went out with high hopes of a repeat result or better of yesterdays qualifying, but it didn’t end up that way. We had to break in new brake pads in the first couple of laps and get myself  warmed up. After doing this we switched to new sticker tires, and went out to put down our fastest lap! I did a warm-up lap on the sticker tires and went to do a flyer, I ended up understeering off the track in turn 8 and got back on the track without damaging the car. I went to come into the pits so the team could check out the car to make sure everything was fine but as I was pulling in I was notified that there was only around 2 minutes left in qualifying and at that time I was way off pace! So I had to quickly get out of the pits and back on track and around to the start finish before they dropped the checker.

I managed to just make it around in time so I had 1 lap to get it done… I managed to put together a 1:15.6 not bad for only 1 lap. Not the fastest we could have  been but at least I got that in… so now it was on to the race. Coming soon.
